Ace the Minnesota Permit Test 2026 – Drive Your Future with Confidence!

A green arrow at an intersection indicates that the lane associated with the arrow is open for use. This signal allows drivers to proceed with confidence in that direction, as it typically signifies that all other vehicles and pedestrians should yield. When a green arrow is displayed, it shows that it is safe for the driver to move forward or turn in the direction of the arrow, without the need to stop or yield.

In contrast, the other options suggest actions that do not align with what a green arrow conveys. For instance, stopping to wait for a signal doesn’t apply when a green arrow is present, as it indicates that conditions are safe to proceed. Proceeds with caution could be interpreted as a warning to be careful, which is not necessary when a green arrow indicates a clear path. Yielding to oncoming traffic is also not correct as the green arrow specifies right-of-way for the driver turning or proceeding in the direction of the arrow.
